The easiest way to book an appointment with me is to schedule your appointment online! I recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to guarantee your time on my table. To ensure your appointment is booked, please check that you receive a confirmation email. You will receive one at the time you book the appointment and a reminder email 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you are having trouble booking online, or if you do not see a time that works for you, you can always email me at katie@sanghacenterforwellness.com or reach out via social media. I try my best to accommodate all appointment requests.

Once your appointment is booked, you will be emailed a health intake form. All of our intake forms are digital and must be filled out online prior to your appointment time. The form covers any recent injuries, surgeries, health conditions, areas of experienced pain/tension, medications you are currently taking, and includes a waiver to sign at the end. This information is confidential and will only be seen by your massage therapist to ensure there are no contraindications for your massage treatment.

I suggest that you arrive for your appointment between 10-15 minutes early so that you’ll have time to go over your goals for the session, any symptoms you may be experiencing and any questions you have. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes early as I may be finishing up checking out the previous client.

Every massage, reiki or yoga therapy session with me is customized to meet your unique goals, needs, and preferences. I recommend dressing in comfortable clothing for your appointment, hydrating before and after your session, and always communicating with your therapist to ensure the best experience. I will go over everything with you on your first visit- from what your goals are to what to expect when you get in the treatment room and after. It's normal to feel relaxed, spacey, or slightly lightheaded after a massage or energy work session. Staying hydrated, resting, and engaging in nourishing activities for the rest of your day is encouraged for optimal massage benefits.
-
This is your time to experience self-care, relaxation and connection the way that you need to. You are welcome to talk during your session, but I do encourage you to take the time to get still and quiet so that you can enter deeper brain wave states where healing and deep relaxation can occur.

I require 24 hours' notice to avoid my late-cancellation fee, which is $75. Unforeseen events such as car problems, business meetings, and children’s illnesses are valid reasons to cancel a massage appointment. However, I ask that you call, email or text if you cannot keep your appointment. My cancellation policy is in place to protect my time and income. Less than 24 hours' notice can make it difficult to fill last-minute slots on my schedule. You can notify me about your reschedule by texting, emailing, or rescheduling your appointment online through your massage book account. Failure to give 24 hours' notice will result in a charge to your card on file or using the credit you have for the appointment (member credit or gift certificate). If you do not have a card on file, I will send you an invoice that you must pay before scheduling another appointment.
-
We ask all clients to arrive about 5-10 minutes prior to their massage, reiki or yoga therapy appointment and to take a seat in our waiting area until we bring you back. All scheduled massage sessions have a specific time schedule, so late arrivals may not receive an extension of their appointment time.

Sangha Center is located just north of Valparaiso High School, in Lamplight Square. I am in the same brick and white building as Coastline Driving School, but I am on the back side of the building. Sangha is located on the first floor, and there are three private parking lots to choose from. There is a sign outside of our office door that says Sangha Center for Wellness.

I accept cash, Venmo, and credit/debit cards.

I offer gift certificates that are available for purchase online and can be emailed to the recipient or printed at home.

I factor gratuity into my service price and am dedicated to adjusting my rates as needed. For this reason, tipping is entirely optional. If you wish to express appreciation in this way, I will graciously accept. However, I want to emphasize that there is never any obligation or expectation to tip during your experience with me. I never ask for or expect tips.
